Cuban President begins Asian tour of Vietnam, China, and Laos
According to the statement, the president will participate in events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the proclamation of independence and founding of the then Democratic Republic of Vietnam, and the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

The partial increase in pensions for retired workers began this August 20, a measure announced by Manuel Marrero Cruz, member of the Party's Political Bureau and Prime Minister, while analyzing the impact and compliance of the Government Program during the Fifth Ordinary Session of Parliament, in the Tenth Legislature, which met this July.
The Cuban Government strongly rejects the current deployment of United States military forces in the Caribbean Sea. This dangerous action represents a serious threat and an aggressive show of force against the sovereignty and self-determination of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean. Furthermore, it ignores the commitment of the 33 Member States of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States when they proclaimed the region as a Zone of Peace.
In a post on X on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), President Miguel Díaz-Canel praised their active role in the Revolution.
