The Board of Directors of the Cuban Association of People with Intellectual Disabilities (ACPIDI) in the province of Holguín will enroll new members starting next August, as part of the care for this vulnerable population group.
For the second time, Holguín will be one of the venues for the Cristal Festivals, which will take place on August 3 on the main stage in the parking lot of the “Calixto García” Major General Stadium.
The province of Holguín is leader in the use of wind energy. This eastern region has the two largest wind farms of their kind in Cuba, located in the coastal municipality of Gibara, according to a publication of the newspaper Trabajadores.
The territorial division of the Cuban Telecommunications Company (Etecsa) in Holguín carries out a strategy for the development of equipment, with the aim to facilitate access to Internet in the areas of the Turquino Plan of the province.
