Seven years after the death of Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez, intellectuals, diplomats, historians, students, and activists from Venezuela and Cuba remembered in Havana the revolutionary legacy of the comandante.

 

Cuba remembers today the 60th anniversary of the explosion of the French steamship La Coubre in the Port of Havana, an event denounced as one of the first warlike actions of the United States against the nascent Revolution.

 

The Albert Borschette conference center in Brussels, Belgium, is hosting the first sectoral dialogue on cooperation in the energy field between Cuba and the European Union (EU), a forum framed by the parties' desire to boost their multi-sectoral relations.

 

Cuba reiterated that there are no people diagnosed with the new coronavirus, which already affects 66 countries. Health authorities are further increasing actions to strengthen epidemiological surveillance and control in airports, ports, and marinas.
