The Provincial Center for Books and Literature (CPLL) in Holguín will launch the campaign "My neighborhood reads" to promote reading in the communities of the territory, as part of the activities to celebrate the Cuban Book Day on May 31.
With the aim to promote the work of specialists from the Territorial Publishing System (SET), the Provincial Book and Literature Center in Holguín convenes the Best Edition Award, which will be announced during the 30th International Book Fair in this eastern province from May 26 to 29.
Among these proposals stand out the exhibition “Heroinas” (Heroines), dedicated to the contemporary French-speaking comic strips, at the Francisco Martinez Anaya Central Library, of the Antonio Maceo University of Oriente.
From the province of Holguin at the Provincial Art Center, the collaborative project Configurando catacumbas (Dreamed Worlds) joins the exhibition program of the 14th Havana Biennial taking place today in Cuba.
