The Tourism sector in Holguín, supported by the Ecovalor Project, works to protect the natural resources exploited, including beach, bay, underwater landscape and protected area in accordance with the Territorial Ordering plans and regulations binding with Cuban legislation for the Protection of the Environment.

 

The signing of the Voluntary Declaration Agreement for the Elimination of Ozone Layer Depleting Substances (ODS) by 54 companies in the province of Holguín stands out among the achievements of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment regarding the protection of the blue gas, whose world day is celebrated on the 16th of this month.

 

The results of the agroecological movement, the peasant tradition in the face of climate change and the exploitation and management of this practice are some of the experiences that farmers from Holguín will exchange during the Provincial Agroecology Forum 2020, to be held from 11 to 25 this month in this eastern province.
