The deputies of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) will debate several issues related to the political, economic and social affairs of the country, in the permanent working commissions during today and tomorrow.
Prior to the Fifth Ordinary Period of Sessions of the 10th Legislature, they will report on the progress of the Economy Plan in the first semester of the year 2025 and the proposed actions to end the year; the liquidation of the State Budget for the year 2024, the execution to date, as well as the closing estimates for the current year.
In two intense days, the implementation of the Digital Transformation Policy, the protection of individuals, families, households and communities in vulnerable situations, and the update of the National Program for the Advancement of Women, among other issues, will be analyzed.
Vital issues such as the local production of construction materials and its impact on the housing program, the country's health and hygiene situation and primary health care will also be part of the agenda.
The Ministry of Energy and Mines will report on the actions to recover the National Electric System, included in the Government Program.
In the Fifth Ordinary Period of Sessions, convened for July 16, the Prime Minister will present a report on the objectives and goals of the Government Program to correct distortions and re-launch the economy, in addition to submitting for approval several bills in accordance with the legislative schedule.
