The Polinesio Restaurant in Holguín, the second of its kind in Cuba, located atop the Sierra Cristal building (known as the 12-story building) in this eastern city, reopened its doors to the public on December 30, 2025.

The Iberoarte International Craft Fair was opened to the public at the Expo Holguín fairgrounds on October 16. The event, which ran until november 1, featured the participation of nearly one hundred artisans, including guests from Perú and Mexico.

In the heart of eastern Cuba, between the provinces of Holguín and Santiago de Cuba, is located the Pico Cristal National Park, the first protected area of its kind on the island.
