Cuba could begin in March the emergency use of some of its vaccine candidates against Covid-19 to immunize high-risk people, it was reported on Monday.
Activists, social movements and union federations from around the world on Thursday added their support to Cuba after the country was included in the unilateral list (drawn up by the United States) of nations sponsoring terrorism.
Cuban health authorities announced on Thursday the diagnoses of 505 new cases of COVID-19 and two fatalities over the last 24 hour-period, for a cumulative of 16,549 positive tests and 160 deaths since the beginning of the epidemic 10 months ago.
