II edition of the Vocalis Festival begins in Holguín

The second edition of the Festival de Agrupaciones Vocales “Vocalis” started on Tuesday at the Cultural Complex Cine Marti in the city of Holguín, with the participation of several groups from the eastern territory.
The event gathered choirs such as Voces de Ángeles, the University Choir and the Selective Choir of the Raúl Gómez García Elementary School of Arts, who opened the event.
Also, a debate on vocal music conducted by Zenovio Hernandez, renowned musical researcher in Holguín, was held in the lobby of Cine Martí.
The festival program includes panels and concerts at the Cine Martí, with the participation of groups such as Vocal Adalias, Proyecto Vocal Ánima and Orfeón Holguín.
The closing ceremony will be held on the 12th at the Alex Urquiola Library with the Symphonic Orchestra and several guest choirs.
This vocal encounter represents an important platform for the promotion and development of choral singing in the region.
