Holguín to host National Social Work Congress

The province of Holguín will host the 13th National Social Work Congress, scheduled to take place from September 23 to 26, 2025, both in-person and virtually, under the theme "Strengthening intergenerational solidarity for the construction of healthy and sustainable environments."
The event aims to promote the dissemination, visibility, and impact of research results and best practices in social work across various social settings.
Although Holguín has never before hosted an event of this magnitude in the field of social work, it has experience organizing national health-related events.
Professionals, specialists, researchers, officials, educators and students interested in the topics to be addressed are invited to attend the event as presenters or attendees.
The Congress, to be held at the ExpoHolguín Fairgrounds, is expected to become a fruitful space for scientific exchange and recreation.
