Blood plasma from patients who have recovered from the coronavirus, along with traditional medicine bring hope in China after positive results in their application on mild and more severe cases.

Since February 24, 1970 to date, more than 6.000 kidney transplants have been carried out in Cuba, despite the limitations imposed by the inhumane and genocidal blockade kept by the successive governments of the United States on the country almost six decades ago.

Cuba's embassy in China reported on Monday that it is preparing the implementation of new preventive actions while China gradually returns to normal amid the new coronavirus epidemics.

 

The recombinant Interferon alfa 2B antiviral (IFNrec), a leading biotechnology product in Cuba, is one of the medicines today used by China in treatments applied to patients with the 2019 coronavirus epidemic, according to a tweet from the Cuban embassy in the Asian country.
