Teaching activities begin at the University of Holguín

The University of Holguín opened its doors for the restart of teaching activities corresponding to the 2024 academic year, which concludes on September 27.
The institution maintains the commitment to provide new education professionals to the territory, whose graduation began last july and will conclude in the first week of October with the central graduation, as well as that of the municipal centers and the different faculties.
Dr.C. Roberto Pérez Almaguer, vice chancellor of undergraduate training at the university, said that the Holguín university is growing and facing a new academic year with great challenges, maintaining quality in the training process and showing the results to the Accreditation Board on October."
He added that the conditions have been created to start the 2024 - 2025 academic year with a staggered system that guarantees attention to the different education levels. New students will be welcomed on September 16 with the opening of the training scenarios to receive first-year students at the four university campuses.
In the case of continuing students, the new course will start on October 7, with which higher education in the territory is aligned with the Ministry of Education for the beginning of the school year.
