The city of Holguín will host the First National Symposium on Rural Nursing on October 17 and 18, with the aim to highlight the work of this staff in hard-to-reach areas of the Turquino Plan in Cuba.
The conference “Fidel Castro and the Assault on the Moncada Barracks, dismantling historical manipulation”, by Dr. C Alexander Abreu, will open the provincial event “For the balance of the world” , which begins today in the eastern city of Holguín.

The VI edition of the Gaviota Destinations Tourist Exchange 2024, a long-awaited annual convention, will be held from October 16 to 20, 2024 in Holguín, with headquarters at the fairgrounds in Playa Pesquero and Ramón de Antilla.
