About a year ago, the local newspaper ¡ahora! went out to the streets of the city of Holguín to capture the images of people who move like nomads through the most crowded places of the city.
Some time later, the problem continues; even new faces are added, some disappear without leaving any trace, others worsen in their condition. It is worth asking the question: What actions are taken to alleviate this problem?
The Family Care Systems (SAF) as a way of providing food, as well as shelter in different institutions, which is still not enough, are among the measures undertaken.
The autonomy of this vulnerable group also influences this scenario, since many perpetuate their path in the streets, already assumed as a way of life. However, efforts are added to provide them with support, as part of the diverse society in which we live.
