Holguin Wrestlers Win Gold Medal in Int’l Tournament

The Holguin wrestlers Antonio Duran and Yudenni Alpajon confirmed as the best Cuban fighters in their respective divisions, winning gold medals in the International Tournament Cerro Pelado-Granma held in Havana.
The national second place, Duran, of the 87 kilograms of the Greco-Roman modality, won by the title, 8-0, the Mexican Antonio Leyva, to improve his silver medal of 2017.

In the free match section, Alpajon, of the 125 kilos, surpassed in the final combat, 4-3, the American Don Bredly. The Holguin fighter had won bronze medal in the previous edition. In 2018 he won gold in the National Championship and in the Central American and Caribbean Games.
