Patria International Colloquium begins in Cuba

The communication strategies structured from Latin America and other countries of the world as mechanisms against cultural colonialism, the monopoly of information and communications, and the media war against our countries will be presented during the 4th International Colloquium “Patria”, which opened this Monday at the Julio Antonio Mella Memorial of the University of Havana.
Journalists and communicators from all Cuban provinces, Latin America and the Caribbean are attending this "expression of resistance and triumph," as Patricia Villegas, coordinator of Tele Sur, described the event on the occasion of its 20th anniversary .
The First Secretary of the PCC Central Committee and President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, and other leaders of the Cuban Revolution attended the opening of the event, whose general program includes keynote addresses, panels, presentations of communication projects, workshops, and an immersion room, with the main stage at the University of Havana.
Holguín is represented at the Patria Colloquium by the directors of the provincial media, as well as the presidents of the Union of Journalists, the Union of Social Communication, and the Union of Information and Communication.
