Russia has considered US attempts to isolate Cuba as a policy doomed to failure, as well as the almost 60 years of the economic, commercial and financial blockade it has imposed on the island.

 

The Official Gazette of the Republic of Cuba published the new legal norms for the Informatization of Society, with immediate effect to the issuance of the document, and which will promote the development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the Island, while ordering this process.

 

The Donald Trump Administration has placed the Cuban company Cubametales on its unilateral list of entities sanctioned because of their links with Venezuela, citing its presumed circuvention of US ilegal sanctions on the South American country.

 

Cuban president Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez and the ministers of Economy and Planning, of Finance and Prices, and of Labor and Social Security, explained details on national TV of a series of measures recently announced to boost the island´s economy, amid increased US hostility.
