Since this Wednesday, April 17, the US government announced new sanctions against Cuba many voices in different parts of the world have expressed their support for the Caribbean island and reject the aggressive escalation of the Trump administration in the region and the activation of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act.

 

The Cuban Revolutionary Government reiterated that it will resist any US attempt to overthrow the Revolution, in the wake of the escalation of the aggressiveness of the Trump Administration. Cuban News Agency reproduces the full text of the Declaration of the Revolutionary Government of Cuba:

 

The U.S. Government announced this April 17 new measures that intensify the aggression against Cuba and strengthen the economic, financial and commercial war supported by successive imperial administrations, to a greater or lesser degree, since the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

 

"I had telephone conversations with His Excellencies Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya, and Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, as part of our efforts to secure the return of our two abducted doctors," announced from his Twitter account the President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez.
