The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba strongly rejected on Tuesday the disrespectful press statement issued by the U.S. State Department, attributed to Secretary Michael Pompeo, which tries to question the validity of the constitutional referendum freely and sovereignly celebrated by Cubans last February 24th.

Cuban President, Miguel Díaz-Canel, described as farce the destabilizing actions against Venezuela, led by some regional leaders who should spend their time in solving their serious problems and change the sad realities of their countries.

 

Over eight million Cubans are being summoned this Sunday to exercise their right to vote to determine whether to ratify or not the new Constitution of the Republic.
