Starting this Wednesday, Cuban Parliamentary Commissions will devote three working days to study the draft of the Constitution of the Republic, prior to its presentation next Saturday during the first ordinary session of the 9th Legislature of the National Assembly of People's Power.

 

Japan's Peace Boat will arrive in Havana next Tuesday, July 17th -- bringing in 1,200 peace activists and a strong message, advocating a nuclear-free world.

 

Beach vacations continue to be Cuba’s flagship product in the tourism sector. Despite travel warnings advising U.S. travelers to reconsider trips to the island, the 60 year old blockade, and hostile media campaigns, the country continues to be a popular Caribbean destination.

 

Cuba called on the United States in Washington to fully comply with its commitments to grant visas to emigrants in tune with the migration agreements signed by the two countries.
