Holguín calls for the 29th edition of Babel

The Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) and the Provincial Center of Plastic Arts in Holguín have launched the call for the 29th edition of Babel, the event dedicated to the visual arts in the Romerías de Mayo festival, which will be held in this Cuban city from May 2 to 8.
This year’s edition of Babel will focus on photography as a form of legitimate artistic expression, which using technique, creativity and sensitivity captures the surrounding reality spontaneously or premeditated.
Proposals will be received until March 20 at the Holguín Art Center, an institution located on the corner of Maceo and Martí streets, or at the Holguín branch of the AHS, with headquarters in one of the corridors of Plaza de la Marqueta.

Babel, one of the oldest events of the Romerías de Mayo, has become an important space for dialogue and exhibition of the visual arts in the country, based on the confluence of established and young exponents, both Cuban and foreign.
