Photos: Elder LeyvaDue to its importance for legal security, legality, order and citizen tranquility, the administration of justice is one of the activities that must be maintained, even in circumstances as complex as those imposed by the pandemic, with the necessary adjustments and modifications and pertinent in the models of action, without detriment to the rights and guarantees of the people, ”said Nilda Martinola Meléndez, President of the Holguín Provincial Court, during the opening ceremony of the Judicial Year in the northeastern territory.
Yunia Pérez, vice governor here, addressed the importance of complying with the established. “In the implementation of the Ordering Task, in the necessary and complex monetary and exchange unification, in the economic, financial and commercial scenario of the country, in the fight against criminal acts increased by the pandemic, the courts play an essential role ”, she pointed out.
Rosa María Ráez, a member of the Party's Provincial Bureau, also praised the work carried out by the judicial body in the midst of complex situations created by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“On behalf of the members of the Court System in Holguín, I reaffirmed the will to fully compliance with our duty, as faithful public servants, defenders of the precise fulfillment of the Constitution and other laws, as it corresponds to us in our socialist state of law and of social justice,” said Martinola Meléndez.
This act is conceived in many countries as a solemn ceremony of the court system. It has been resumed to contribute to the strengthening of the country's institutions and to reinforce the transparency and visibility of the Cuban judicial system, inside and outside the country.
