Affidavit and Tax Payment 2021 begins in Holguín

The Affidavit and Tax Payment Campaign will extend from January 28 through April 30 in Holguín, for the income obtained in the 2020 fiscal period; the contributions will not be impacted by the changes implied by the Ordering Task.
Leticia Batista González, communicator of the National Tax Administration Office (ONAT) in Holguín, said that self-employed workers who carry out their activity within the General Tax Regime are also summoned to this annual exercise, including artists, creators, social communicators, designers and those who work in foreign branches, as well as in the agricultural sector.
The specialist noted that due to the complex epidemiological situation that the country is going through, the use of digital channels to obtain tax documentation is promoted.
"Taxpayers will be able to do it through the Tax Portal www.onat.gob.cu; they will also be able to request the service from the consultation emails enabled in the municipal and provincial offices or in person through a USB device ."
She said that among the facilities the minimum exempt from payment is maintained up to 10,000 Cuban pesos and all self-employed workers who were suspended for six or more months due to COVID-19, are exempted from the presentation and payment of the Affidavit.
"We urge you to enjoy the bonus offered by the Law of five percent for those taxpayers who declare and pay before March 1, and three percent for those who use the electronic payment gateways."
