“In the event, which is held from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Holguín (UHO), participants present novel results obtained by researchers from the territory.
We have a work on seismicity and another on technologies for seismic risk assessment, both from the National Center for Seismological Research (CENAIS); also studies of environmental impacts in quarries and their rehabilitation, of the ENIA; and the sustainability of the quality of the Zeolite produced in the territory”, explained Carlos Miguel Díaz Matos, president of the Cuban Society of Geology (SCG) of Holguín-Las Tunas.
