Bucanero S.A. expands barrel infrastructure in Holguín

A new line for packaging barrels that will increase the marketing of the brand was inaugurated this Thursday at the Bucanero S.A. brewery, in the city of Holguín.
The investment, considered the largest in the last two decades in the factory, has the main objective of increasing beer volumes and satisfying the broad demand of tourism, gastronomy and non-state management forms in the country.
The new line, numbered 522 and valued at more than 4 million euros, was manufactured by an Italian company, in charge of the design. It has very modern technology, which will make it possible to deliver between 13 thousand or 14 thousand hectoliters (about 25 thousand barrels) per month. From now on, two barrel lines will be operated, maintaining another of about 20 thousand hectoliters per month (about 40 thousand barrels).
The barrels will offer greater diversity of the drink in the dispensers of restaurants, bars and hotels, with the opportunity to offer several brands simultaneously to customers, including, Cristal, Cristal Extra and Bucanero, he added.
