Holguín to host Entrepreneurs' Fair on April 24th

The Entrepreneurs' Fair “Por un 26 en el 25” will take place from April 24 to 26 at the ExpoHolguín fairgrounds of this eastern Cuban city.
The event is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba in the territory, the Articulated Platform for Integral Territorial Development (Padit) and the Cuban Association of Social Communicators.
In statements to the local news magazine En Primer Plano, Manuel Francisco Hernández Aguilera, governor of Holguín, expressed that this event emerges within the government's administration, guided by its pillars: digital transformation, social communication, science and innovation, and the Program to Correct Distortions and Re-Boost the Economy.
“Our objective on this occasion is not commercial, we aim to expose the results achieved to date, as well as to show the social role of the different economic actors from the distribution of their profits, since they have contributed to the improvement of clinics and teaching centers, among others,” said Hernandez Aguilera.
The agenda also includes workshops to socialize the results of various projects based on technology and innovation applied in the northeastern region.
During the event, the organizing committee will grant three prizes: the best productive chain, the greatest local impact and the most innovative product.
The fair aims to achieve strategic alliances between companies and promote good practices in the province of Holguín and the results are palpable in the socioeconomic development of the province.
