Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel paid homage on Monday to thirteen military who fell in the line of duty, in the eastern Cuban province of Holguín.
The people of Holguin, representing all of Cuba, today pay tribute to the thirteen combatants of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) who fell in the line of duty during the events that occurred in the town of Melones, in the municipality of Rafael Freyre.
The IV National Seminar “The Man of Caguairán”, dedicated to discussing the thought of Fidel Castro, will be held in Holguín from February 24 to 26, with the participation of pioneers, researchers and teachers from all over the country.
If the grief and pain for the 13 missing combatants due to the explosions occurred in areas of a military unit located in the territory of Melones, municipality of Rafael Freyre, is deep, here there is also talk of the rapid evacuation of the inhabitants of areas surrounding the sites of the accident.
