Holguin Sports Museum Pays Homage Yanelis Silva

The Holguin Provincial Sports Museum opened an exhibition on March in homage to Yanelis Silva Zamora, Cuban multi-champion and Parapanamerican table tennis player for people with disabilities. The exhibition includes plaques, documents and other pieces of great museum value, according to Sara Zulema Muguercia, director of this institution, located in the Calixto García Íñiguez baseball stadium.
Yanelis Silva Zamora treasures more than 30 gold medals in National Championships and from 2002 to the present, has ranked among the first three places in America.
This athlete, a paradigm of table tennis for people with disabilities in the Caribbean nation, comes to the tribute and to all the Holguin athletes with the supreme motivation of having celebrated on March 8, the International Women's Day.
