I even fell in love with his name

Our love is long-standing. I fell in love from that age when I had the first memory. It is a true love, the kind that hurts with the same intensity with which they enjoy themselves, the kind that doesn't let you concentrate at work or throws you into the abyss of despair and anguish when there is the possibility of definitive separation...

I fell in love with you. It's a true love, one of those who stays when things get difficult, like now when we can't stretch our feet much, because it doesn't give us the sheet and day to day is a boat maneuver to stay afloat.

I value your virtues. I understand your flaws. I even forget them, because I even fell in love with your name and how you smell, sometimes like the sea, sometimes like a butterfly; and the curves of your geography and your heat in the middle of February and your photos on Facebook with which you enchant the world...

Everything I give you, you have returned to me multiplied. In you I have a home, a family, a future for which we have to continue fighting together; because I don't want to miss you, I don't want to remember you. I want to live you and in a month like this, of love, I even want to tell you that we will double the Golden Wedding together, that I want to grow old sleeping next to you and gain weight over the years at the expense of your creole seasoning.

I never get jealous. I can share you. Some people make you fall in love with medals or vaccines or books... Some people give you a song. I also know you, I feel you and I promise to do, from where I am, all the best that I can for the good of both of us, for the good of all our great family of Cubans.
