Publishing House of Holguin University to Participate at Book Fair

Conciencia Ediciones stands out for the promotion of culture and results of the scientific work of teachers and students of the university.
"Art and restoration", by Evelina Cardet; "Cuba: dialectic of the update of its economic and social model", by Luis Orlando Aguilera and "Environmental audit in business management", by Roberto Rodriguez, are among the books to be launched.Yanet Alvarez, director of Conciencia, said that they will have as guests the members of the Futuro publishing house of the University of Information Sciences, who will launch the first Cuban magazine on augmented reality, as well as downloads of mobile applications.
Also, the electronic magazines “Light”, dedicated to the Pedagogical Sciences and “For life”, on topics related to physical culture and sports, will be presented during the Book Fair, dedicated this year to the 50th anniversary of Higher Education in Holguin and the 4th anniversary of Conciencia Ediciones.
The six books presented at the Fair will be donated to the network of university libraries, public libraries and other cultural institutions of the territory, according to Yanet Álvarez.Ediciones Conciencia is the fifth publishing house based in the province of Holguin, along with Ediciones Holguin, Ediciones La Luz, Cuadernos Papiro and La Mezquita.
